Why This Reference Exists
Idaho public records can be spread across a live jail interface, a records custodian, the court portal, and a later state corrections search. The hard part is knowing which source answers which question. Cassia County uses the Mini-Cassia Criminal Justice Center for county bookings, and the sheriff's public pages separate recent bookings, current custody, and outstanding warrants.
The county's booking record can include an intake date, charge text, agency, bond, and a photograph when the public row contains one. Idaho Department of Correction records describe a later state custody or supervision stage. Idaho courts hold the hearings and disposition. This site puts those routes and their limits beside one another so a reader can start with the correct official office. It does not store or repost jail records or booking photos.
What Cassia Pages Provide
Each part of the site has a focused records purpose:
- The home page combines the county roster, recent-bookings search, booking-record request path, law and retention notes, custody distinctions, and city routing.
- Most Wanted Fugitives explains the sheriff's wanted alert, the county warrant checker, safe tip routes, and the court path for a person who may be named.
- Crime News describes the KMVT, Times-News, KIVI, and KLIX coverage that can lead to a county or court record.
- The Burley, Oakley, and Declo pages explain how each city reaches the same county booking system and where local coverage has or has not been found.
- The supporting pages state the site's privacy, terms, legal disclaimer, and official-contact limits.
What We Cannot Do
This is not the Cassia County Sheriff's Office, the Mini-Cassia Criminal Justice Center, an Idaho court, or the Idaho Department of Correction. It has no power to release or transfer a person, confirm present custody, post bond, schedule a visit, send funds, change a charge, or file a court document.
- It cannot provide legal advice or decide whether a warrant applies to a person.
- It cannot promise that a phone number, fee, address, roster row, or web link remains current.
- It cannot replace the sheriff's status confirmation, a records response, or an iCourt disposition.
- It cannot turn a booking allegation into a finding of guilt.
Only the originating office can confirm current custody, release status, or the official contents of a particular record. Official questions belong with the record custodian, not this reference service.
Search Partner Disclosure
Some search boxes on the site are supplied by outside providers. Those providers set their own pricing, results, and data practices. If a visitor follows a tool into a paid signup, Cassia County Busted Mugshots may receive a referral fee. That arrangement helps support the reference site, but it does not change the county's official record and does not give this site control over a partner's service.
